What can I say, a 140 year old desk, in one of the best timbers around, made and with an exquisite green leather, gold leaf tooled top and a very nice, plaque which reads as follows

Its uncommon to find a piece with this kind of history which is illustrated by the personalized plaque, it elevates the history and importance of the desk to something special
We have cleaned waxed and polished this from top to bottom, there will be normal age and use related patina marks here and there, nothing that detracts from the age, charm and sophistication of the piece, one handle drop is missing which I would like to note
