Antique English George III Mahogany Slant-Front Secretary Desk
About the Item
Antique English George III mahogany inlaid slant front secretary writing desk, 19th c. This desk features a thin line of inlay surrounding the slanted desk top and each drawer. The brass key holes and drawer handles are original. The interior has drawers with secret compartments. There are multiple arched cubby holes.

The secretary desk surface height is 31.75" high
Acquired at an antique auction in Texas in 2022.
Excellent used condition. The secretary was will cared for and is in excellent condition. There are some minor signs of wear from age and use. Thin crack across slanted desk top. This can be restored to original state by Antique Treasure Restoration Studio in Denver. Please contact them for an estimate.
