About the Item

A very nice early 19th century Federal Birch New England Slant Lid Desk likely New Hampshire in origin around 1800-1830. Made of solid Birch with four large graduated inlaid drawers and a nicely proportioned interior pigeon hole area with six smaller drawers. Excellent color and patina on an old refinish. Hardware is an older replacement. A very nice clean American desk in very good condition.
