French Walnut Slant Front Dest
About the Item
A very attractive late 18th century French Walnut slant front desk with geometric marquetry design on the lid. Gold tooled leather writing surface on the inside of the lid over two drawers on the cut out apron. One drawer on the inside reveals a secret wood slide that allows access to the center well area. Very old and likely an original surface with a great color and patina. All pegged construction.
