It features a beautifully balanced layout: dual columns of drawers flank a central under-top drawer, offering both symmetry and practicality. The spacious desktop is divided into three inlaid panels of black leatherette, each bordered with a fine gold trim that evokes classic executive style. Original brass escutcheons and handles adorn the drawers, which all lock with a single key for added convenience. One drawer has been discreetly fitted with modern runners for smoother function, blending historical charm with everyday usability. Visible traces of old woodworm—now professionally sealed with wax—attest to the desk’s authentic age and character.
