Melchiorre Bega Desk, 1950s Italy

About the Item

Stunning Italian desk in a beautiful caramel wood. Four pull-out drawers flank each side of the desk. Angular extension on the left side of the desk for extra writing space and fantastic design. Desktop is elevated 3-4 inches above the frame sitting on 4 small posts. Tapered legs with metal feet. Lockable drawers. Great piece of functional art. Great vintage condition. Excellent scale. Made in Italy, Circa 1950s.
