Primitive Office Desk with Built in Stool, 1950s, USA
About the Item
Incredible primitive Americans desk in a beautiful black paint with heavy patina and raw wood accents. Four pull-out drawers across the front of the desk as well as three individual pull out writing boards that tuck neatly back into the desk. Minimal and beautifully unassuming design with practical features like a wooden swivel stool that stores easily under the desk. This stool sits on a steel hinge fastened beneath the body of the desk and can be easily pulled out and used as a perfect seat. Great piece of functional art in good vintage condition. Excellent scale and eye catching craftsmanship and patina. Made in USA, Circa 1950s.
