The France Chair FD136 is considered to be one of Juhl's most iconic designs, and it is highly sought after by collectors and design enthusiasts. The chair's sculptural and organic forms reflect Juhl's unique design style, which was characterized by a balance between functionality and aesthetics. Like many of Juhl's designs, the France Chair FD136 is a testament to his exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship. It remains a timeless piece of furniture that continues to inspire contemporary designers and enthusiasts alike. Finn Juhl (1912-1989) was a Danish architect, interior and industrial designer, and one of the leading figures of the Danish modern movement. He is best known for his furniture designs, which were characterized by their sculptural and organic forms, as well as their innovative use of materials. Juhl studied architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he later taught furniture design. Wegner, these AP-40 iconic teak nesting tables are sleek, Minimalist and modernism at its finest. constructed of solid teak, these nesting tables all fit perfectly into grooves in their mates, so once stacked, they can easily be picked up and moved without falling out, or fanned out perfectly to accommodate your cocktail, book and a snack. These gorgeous tables are in vintage, original condition with almost no signs of wear, and feature an incredibly beautiful grain pattern, not usually found on these nesting tables. This set is gorgeous and when we found them, they were placed alongside an original Hans Wegner Papa Bear chair and a Finn Juhl France chair, and not only did they hold their own, they really completed the tableau.
