An elegant and aerial desk or secretary desk, by Svend Aage Madsen, produced by Knudsen & Søn, Denmark 1950. This small desk represents the essence of modernist Dansk creatitivy. it features beautiful free-form lines, and sophisticated compartments (a small drawer on the left side, a letter box on the right, and a wide hidden compartment under the central writing area, all combining teak with patinated brass details. This is an iconic piece of scandinavian design and a very rare collectible by a major creator.
