About the Item
A two piece Mid Century Asian handcrafted sculptural wooden writing desk and matching chair in a dark ebony styled finish . Curved upper ends of the desk with it's slightly upright tapered pose and glass top gives the piece a simple but sophisticated look and feel , The matching chair with the same stunning oriental aesthetic has a nice curved back spine for comfort and a woven cane seat in the style of a tatami mat . Signed by the maker to each piece as pictured possibly by the elder Po Wah made in Hong Kong . The measurement for the desk including the up right ends is 34.5" high and the writing surface is 29.5" which is a typical height for a desk top . The chair measurements are 17.75" L x 20.5" D x 37" H with seating height at 17.5" .
