PRISTINE Antique Charles LIMBERT Oak Drop Front Desk - Stickley Era
About the Item
This is a PRISTINE Antique Charles Limbert Oak Drop Front Desk from the early 1900s. The desk is made from a wonderful selection of quarter sawn oak. It is signed / marked with a Limbert label (see photos). This is a great example of a rare, narrow size Limbert desk. It is in original condition with all original finish, color, and hardware. The desk opens and closes with ease. The desk has no overcoat and great original finish and color.
We purchase most of our Stickley and Limbert furniture from well known collections in New York and in Philadelphia. We may pay a little more but we get the BEST. We have over 5,000 pieces of real Stickley, Roycroft, and Limbert furniture. We buy from collections in New York and Pennsylvania. We buy only the best. BTW - We have dealt with original Gustav Stickley items (circa early 1900s) since early 1970s in New York. For the last 44 yrs we have had a retail shop on Rt 15 in Shamokin Dam, Pennsylvania. We have over 5,000 pieces of Real Stickley furniture. We buy from collections in New York and Pennsylvania. We buy only the best. We will ship this piece either directly to your home (in Northeast US) or via freight. (You can also pick it up at our retail shop.) It will then be delivered to a freight terminal near you where you must then pick it up. Unless the piece is delivered directly to your home, it must be picked up at the freight terminal. We will send you contact information for the terminal, along with documents showing the tracking number.
