Made from powder-coated steel and glass, and available as coffee tables, desks, dining tables, or consoles, the Frame tables were designed by Swiss duo Thévoz-Choquet around a series of intersecting geometries. Inspired by Fred Sandback’s volume studies and the perception of negative space, colorful steel frames generate volumes in deliberately minimal compositions. The Object System Series by Nathaniel Wojtalik takes industrialized forms and distills them through a lens of traditional craft. The base of the Sabbagh Billot table is attached by a series of intricately hand cut tenons that pass through the top, revealing the construction of the joint. The tenons became known colloquially as "metropolis tenons" after a visitor to the studio saw them during assembly and thought they looked like a city scape. This table was the root of the unique joinery method which has been carried into subsequent pieces. Each piece is unique and hand made in the Brooklyn studio.
