Serpentine Shaped Burr Walnut Partners Desk
About the Item
This stunning serpentine-shaped burr Walnut partners desk features satinwood crossbanding and a panelled hide writing surface. The pedestals are flanked with hand carved lion heads, scrolls and acanthus leaves. Both sides of the desk are fully functional with three frieze drawers, and a drawer with filer below in each pedestal. All the drawers have oak lined interiors, dovetailed joins and intricate brass drop handles. The desk stands on carved hairy lion paw feet. This beautiful and very functional piece of furniture would make a superb feature or focal point for several different rooms and settings.
