We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely original Mid-Century Modern circa 1961 Peter Lovig Danish Teak bookcase back desk designed for Hedensted Mobelfabrik An iconic design, highly collectable and extremely stylish, this Lovig desk is the stuff of dreams for all MCM collectors. The lines, the subtly of the back, it all just screams Danish style. Each of the drawers have to the base the Peter Lovid sticker and are stamped Jan 16th 1961 We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, it has a good honest patina throughout, this is one of the finer examples you will find Dimensions Height 76.5cm Width 154.5cm Depth 71cm Legroom Height 72cm Width 59.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
