About the Item

"Track" desk designed by Naghi Habib for Bernini, 1999 Designed by Naghi Habib in 1999 for Bernini, the Track desk is part of a sophisticated family of furniture designed to interpret the idea of an elegant and functional home, in line with modern requirements for optimizing space. Minimalist in aesthetics but extremely rich in terms of function, Track is distinguished by its articulated structure: two side drawers, a drop-down top that is perfectly integrated into the thickness of the top, and a bridge riser that houses drawers and storage compartments useful for organizing work space. The sides, surprisingly, conceal two removable shelves designed to accommodate peripherals such as printers or other home office accessories. Also designed for technological use, it includes a rear grommet hole for neat handling of connections. The desk captivates not only with its functionality, but also with its balanced proportions and refined details, such as the refined wave pattern that decorates the drawer fronts-the signature style of the collection. Made of fine Aegrel wood, Track is a perfect example of how contemporary aesthetics can coexist with excellent craftsmanship. Its creation bears the signature of the historic Bernini company, interpreter and custodian of the great tradition of Italian cabinet-making, known for the absolute quality of its workmanship and maniacal attention to detail. Designers: Naghi Habib was born in Rome in 1962 and received a degree in Architecture from "La Sapienza" University of Rome in 1988. A multi-talented designer and architect, he has ranged over the years in various fields, designing residential complexes, private homes and contract ... as well as collaborations with several companies in the furniture industry, including Ycami, Bernini, Colico, for which he has designed numerous collections and furniture complements. An esteemed professional who can combine a particular sense of aesthetics with considerable design experience.
