Walter Charak was the son of Jacob Charak, the founder of Charak Furniture Co., which was one of the leading manufacturers of Colonial furniture reproductions in the 20th century based in Boston, MA. Walter served as the director of New York operations and was a strong advocate for modern furniture bringing on designers such as Tommi Parzinger and David Whitcomb, as well as incorporating some of his own designs. DIMENSIONS: 30.25"h, 50"w, 22"d CONDITION: Very good, refinished. Minor flaws and light surface imperfections exist even in 'very good' or 'restored' items due to age and patina.
