19th Century Victorian ‘Dog Kennel’ Dresser.
About the Item
An impressive Charles 11 revival dresser. This English, Victorian, dark oak dresser dates back to 1880 and displays desirable aged patina.
The dark oak radiates highlights, is profusely carved and is a testament to the craftsman’s skill, offering much detail. The carved oak back features carved foliate panels flanked by ancient figures carved in full relief.
This solidly built dresser with ‘dog kennel’ centre is flanked by two heavily carved doors with three carved drawers above sitting on a carved plinth base.
The sides are also heavily carved. This dresser is highly polished and would grace any home.
