About the Item
Splendid elegance for this rare example of a two-drawer chest of drawers; all due to the research of its shape and the processing of its materials.
The chest of drawers is composed of a pyramid-shaped body polished with black shellac, in which there are two drawers, the fronts of which are covered with a polished brass plate; They can be opened using a beautiful brass key. But let's get to the good part, the top is made up of a glass of modest thickness resting on a brass plate embedded inside the cabinet; the glass in which a figure of a woman among the clouds is sandblasted, taken from a drawing by "Gio Ponti"; its execution is valuable and fine. Finally, the large feet of the chest of drawers are also edged with brass mouldings. Its shape is very particular and unique in its style.
