END OF 17th-EARLY 18th CENTURY "CANTERANO" BUREAU

About the Item

Beautiful "canterano" bureau in solid walnut with drawers veneered in walnut root. The bronze handles are also stunning, made with lost wax casting and covered in green patina. The front appears wavy with linear geometries, while the feet are shelf-like. The chest of drawers is ascribed to Tuscan manufacture, dating back to the late 17th and early 18th centuries. Measurements: HxWxD 95 x 147 x 63cm.
