Extraordinary T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings Dresser, Widdicomb-1955
About the Item
A stunning six drawer dresser by designer T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings. With its minimalist case, brass legs and cane-wrapped pulls this design has become an icon of mid century modern design. This cabinet has been fully restored and showing only minor signs of age and use. The brass hardware and legs have been left to show natural aging but can be polished if preferred.
The matching three-drawer chest is available in my other listings as well.
Gibbings' pieces are a great accompaniment to the works of the other designers of his era including Edward Wormley, Harvey Probber, Tommi Parzinger and Vladimir Kagan.
