About the Item
Late 18th century Welsh Dresser with pot shelf base, Wales. Elm & ash. The handsome columns are simply swell turned. Deep drawers, with double drawer faux fronts for visual design continuity, flank a single drawer over arched opening. Forged iron hooks add utility to the rack with original open back (many had backboards added in the Victorian era). Charming sag to the shelves from pewter chargers. Original crown molding.
