About the Item

Scarce pair of walnut bachelors chests / nightstands / commodes / dressers designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar, circa late 1960s. Beautifully constructed pair of chests with impressive fiery walnut grains. Each featuring a rectangular case with reeded casement detail front, resting on an ebonized plinth base to create a "floating" effect. Three spacious drawers, double recessed pulls, that open and close with ease and provide plenty of space to tuck all your bedtime essentials out of sight. Rests on an ebonized plinth base to create a "floating" effect. Meticulously restored by our in-house restoration team. Gorgeous medium tone walnut, stellar understated design and top notch American craftsmanship. These versatile chests would work beautifully together as one long dresser or separately as nightstands. Forward-looking, designed to blend with any period harmoniously.
