1950's Italian Bar, Back Bar and Pair of Brass Bar Stools
About the Item
1950's Italian standing bar, back bar and pair of brass three legged bar stools.
Standing bar has three open cabinets in satin finished palisander veneer held aloft by angular tapered tubular brass scaffolds. and a floating curved glass top.
Giraffe-like back-bar an open palisander cabinet interior lined with mirrored glass and a fixed shaped glass shelf with a lower glass shelf insert in brass frame, framed by a pair of tall tapered brass supports.
Pair of 1950's Italian brass tripod bar stools constructed of three tubular solid brass tapered legs on brass ball feet, braced by a solid brass ring footrest and upholstered round seat cushion
Maker not confirmed but very much in the style of Gio Ponti with Piero Fornasetti; Silvio Cavatorta of Rome produced furniture during this period with very similar tapered brass tubular scaffold structures.
All brass has been polished but not lacquered so will acquire a natural patina over time.
