Bar cabinet with bottle rack and mirror - Art Deco Circa 1940 - France

About the Item

Wooden bar from the Art Deco period which opens in two parts. The upper part opens with a lid and reveals a compartment entirely covered with mirrors, provided for storing glasses, bottles... The lower part is divided into two parts in which there are spaces reserved for glasses and bottles. The lower part is sliding and opening thanks to beautiful Art Deco handles. Circa 1940.

Very elegant Compact in black and gold lacquered gilt metal. Art Deco period. Golden border around the edge Golden interior. Winged dragon motifs in the center and geometric shapes. Beautiful symmetry of the typical Art Deco pattern. It contains a Mirror and its original Puff. Stamped "Graziella France" around the mirror and "Graziella France Deposed" at the bottom of the powder compartment. The compact has an ideal size to be carried in a pocket or a handbag. Its elegant pattern and colors will make it a magnificent decorative object on a dressing table. Graziella comes from Latin and means grace, charm. Stunning Art Deco silver plated bronze lamp of a heron, with faux bamboo shade support designed by the prestigious French Maison Baguès of Paris, circa 1940. Sold without the shade.
