About the Item
Wooden bar from the Art Deco period which opens in two parts. The upper part opens with a lid and reveals a compartment entirely covered with mirrors, provided for storing glasses, bottles... The lower part is divided into two parts in which there are spaces reserved for glasses and bottles. The lower part is sliding and opening thanks to beautiful Art Deco handles.

Baguès was created in 1840 in Auvergne by Noël Baguès. The company then specialized in the creation and manufacture of liturgical bronzes. With the generalization of electricity, Baguès began in 1860 with successful lighting bronzes. At the beginning of the 20th century, chandeliers were exported to London, Brussels, New York, Rome and even Cairo. In the 1920s, Baguès created its own models in fine ironwork: this was the birth of the collection with its characteristic foliage and parrots.
