What we have here is a piece of groovy Italian design from the 1970s in the form of a stylish bar set. This consists of four benches with walnut veneer that are beautifully finished with a modest lacquer. The benches are curved and that invites you to form playful arrangements. Its centerpiece is the round bar cabinet containing a creamy white synthetic holder with space for five bottles. The bottle holder is removable after which this bar can also serve as storage space. The plateau with a triangular notch can rotate completely and the synthetic bowl with motif rests loosely on it. This bowl was initially intended to put in some snacks for guests to take, but it is also removable. Due to its dynamic character, this item is a match for a variety of interior styles. For example, in its most exuberant arrangement, it would not look out of place in a James Bond-like setting in a Lautner villa. But in its most subtle form, as a round coffee table, it can adorn any decor. Its compact size and delicate appearance add a touch of sophistication and is an essential decorative mid-century design item. This item is in good condition and consistent with age and use. Small superficial scratches and wear are part of this, but in no way detract from the pleasant patina of this set. The dimensions mentioned are for when the set is completely pushed together.
