Mid Century Modern Bar Cart with Leather Wine Rack

About the Item

This mid century modern bar cart features black metal frame, butcher block style top with built in ice bucket, matching butcher block style shelf, white lacquer shelf along the bottom, unique leather wine rack and castor wheels. Dimensions: 28w 16d 30h Condition: The butcher block top & matching shelf have some staining / water damage throughout. The original leather wine bottle rungs are in various degrees of disrepair. MOST wine rungs are in good shape but some have been damaged by moisture over the years (see photos). White lacquer base is clean and in good condition. Castor wheels roll well. The ice bucket pictured has a crack in the bottom. It is original to the piece but will need to be replaced. It is included in the sale just as a scale / size reference for replacement. Please inspect photos carefully and contact with questions prior to purchase. 8/10

Please believe me when I say pictures don't this piece justice. The cherry wood shimmers and gleams with an almost indescribable Iridescence that looks like rivers of honey that form the ebbing and flowing grain. The tones and hues of the piece change depending on how the light hits it and where your eye catches it. You'll see amber, ochre, honey, and umber. The right has a faux-door panel that is made to resemble the one on the left. However, this faux-door is actually the front panel to a roll-out bar cart.
