About the Item

This bar cabinet was designed by master furniture maker Luciano Frigerio and features a label with his signature which attests to its authenticity. The inlay of the central doors was made with laminated wood veneered with noble wood, walnut and maple inlays. It is a rare piece because few pieces were produced. The cataloged model is called "Paganini". Frigerio di Desio, 1975 Luciano Frigerio was born in Desio in 1928. His father Giovanni started a high craftsmanship workshop in 1889. Over the years, collaboration began with some famous Italian architects and designers, including Franco Albini, Sergio Asti and later Paolo Portoghesi. Luciano Frigerio asks them to design furniture that can be made in the laboratory, to artisanal specifications, with numbered and signed series with the belief that an architect can also design a piece of furniture as a unique piece of high cabinet-making and not just furniture for industrial use.
