Vintage Walnut Cocktail Drinks Bar With Roulette and Craps Boards 20th Century
About the Item
This is a fantastic vintage walnut casino games bar mid 20th century in date.
The beautifully demi-lune shaped bar features baize lined two tier games tables, the first for roulette, the second for craps. The rear is fitted with a three-tiered bottle rack, flanked by a cupboard door on each side, each cupboard with an adjustable shelf. The front is superbly decorated with outset fluted pilasters and a useful chromed footrail.
Complete with two sets of playing cards, dice, gambling chips and chip rake.
This bar would be a wonderful and playful addition to your man cave or family room and is sure to get noticed wherever it is placed.

Walnut
Walnut is a hard, dense, tight- grained wood that polishes to a very smooth finish. It is a popular and attractive wood whose colour ranges from near white in the sapwood to a dark hew in the heartwood. When dried in a kiln, walnut wood tends to develop a dull brown colour, but when air-dried can become a rich purplish-brown. Because of its colour, hardness and grain, it is a prized furniture and carving wood. Walnut veneer was highly priced and the cost would reflect the ‘fanciness’ of the veneer – the more decorative, then the more expensive and desirable.
