Dutch 18th Century Louis XVI Linen Press

About the Item

A mahogany Louis XVI period linen press made in the Netherlands. The top of this case piece has a broken pediment design over large bookmatched and paneled doors that open to reveal three fixed shelves, one at 9 ½” deep and two at 20 ½” deep, and 3 drawers with brass knobs. The bottom of the linen press has matching paneled doors and five oak removable linen press shelves at 20 ¾” deep. Both functioning locks have hand-cut neoclassical escutcheon plates with one key that works for both. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this antique is ready for your immediate use.
