18th Century Flemish Louis XV Secretary Chest of Drawers in Oak

About the Item

A 18th century Flemish Louis XV slanted-flap secretary. Solidly made of oak. Half-high lateral coffered corpus with 2 large drawers and a slightly recessed superstructure with slanted flap above. Slightly S-shaped curved front (en arbalète) and rounded pilasters, as well as profiled curved plinth apron, ending in curved legs with lion paw feet. Behind the writing flap, which can be locked with the original lock and key, are 4 small drawers and another 4 small hidden drawers under a secret compartment (please see video). Original fittings.
