Danish Mid-Century Teak Chest Drawers, Secretaire ore Writing Cabinet, 1950s
About the Item
Measures: Height: 100 cm
Width: 90 cm
Depth: 45 cm
Swedish Mid Century Teak Rolltop Bureau in the style of Egon Ostergaard manufactured by SMi Sweden in the 1960's. This distinctive cylinder bureau features a locking lid with a fully fitted interior with three small drawers and a pull out writing surface giving plenty of working space.
Below are four full width drawers - the top drawer is lockable, the drawers feature beautifully matched teak veneer to the drawer fronts. The cylinder lid runs very smoothly and is complete with the original key, the extending work surface extends easily and all the drawers run very smoothly.
The condition is good with some minor signs of wear and tear especially on the lower corners in the back.
