George III Scarlet Japanned Secretary Cabinet

About the Item

The case 18th century with later scarlet Japanned decoration. With shaped arched pediment over a pair of arched doors with beveled glass. Opening to an elaborate interior with various drawers and doors, cubbys etc. Two candle slides. The desk section with a slant lid opening to a writing surface and fitted interior. Two over two long drawers, bracket feet. Brass handles. Keys.
