Privé" secrétaire by Jürgen Lange for Rosenthal Germany 1987

About the Item

"Privé" writing desk or secrétaire by Jürgen Lange for Rosenthal Germany 1987. This is an extremely well thought and crafted desk. While standing on a small footprint it offers amazing storage capacities with its folding doors, hidden storage compartments and drawers. The desk stands on a rectangular base made of artificial stone. To access the main storage compartments and drawers the main door unfolds to become a writing board. The two central drawers are made of fruitwood as well as the rim of the writing board. The overall width of the desk ranges from 60 to 96 cm depending on whether the foldable side doors are in open or closed position. Jürgen Lange is a German industrial designer who founded his own office for product planning and product design in 1968.
