Antique French Cherry Cylinder Top Desk

About the Item

A very dramatic piece of furniture. Design utilizes the best of the earlier Directoire period, and the contemporary Beidermier style. The interior wood color, less exposed to light, has retained the lighter original finish. Natural light has slightly darkened the exterior of the piece.to a rich beautiful cherry. The black accents are very chic. Desk writing height is 31" The cylinder opens smoothly, but work has been done to make this work well, it is workable but needs TLC when you open the top. Reduced in price to compensate! Call the store for information.
