About

Mahogany roll top cylinder bureau, circa 1890. With a carved three quarter gallery with gadrooned fore-edge above a cylinder top opening to a configuration of pigeon holes and drawers. With a pullout / pull-out slide with tooled leather writing slope (ratchet adjustable) flanked by similar leather insert compartments and a pen slide. Raised on banks of 3 graduated drawers with plinth bases and castors, circa late 19th century, mahogany roll top cylinder bureau.
