1940's Tall French Workshop Shelving Unit - Thirty Four Drawers
About the Item
1940’s Tall French Workshop Shelving Unit – Thirty Four Drawers.
Sourced in France this is a practical piece of storage, the bottom has nine large drawers and 25 small drawers. The top has a number of pigeon holes. Made entirely of solid pitch the construction is crude, most likely locally made for a farmhouse workshop. The unit retains a good set of original cup handles. Our workshop has serviced the unit, all drawers run well, the unit is strong and stable. The back is made of lapped solid pine panels. We love the originality and character.
