1950’s Very Large Dutch Seed cabinet – One Hundred Drawers (1672)
1950’s Very Large Dutch Seed Bank Of Drawers – One Hundred Drawers (1672). Sourced in the Netherlands this is an exceptional large bank of drawers that came from the stockroom of an old nursery. Made of solid pitch pine throughout the cabinet is a massive 1.8 metres wide with one hundred drawers used to hold seeds. The cabinet retains its original handles throughout and features 40 stunning original enamel name plates listing the drawer contents in Dutch. Our workshop has gently restored the cabinet and all drawers run smoothly. The cabinet is heavy and solid and is one of the finest pieces we have had the pleasure of finding. Internal drawer size is approximately 29L x 14W x 9H, all cm.

Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
