Box and wall unit string shelf rack system by Nisse Strinning, 1960s
Original and rare String System. One box (78 cm W x 30 cm D x 42 cm H), 3 shelves (78 cm W x 30 cm D), 3 white ladders. The box + shelf is easy to install and stable. The system can be arrange in all directions. It is easily expandable and adapts to any room individually and looks elegant and light. Since its market launch in 1949, the string racking system has garnered more than 15 prestigious international awards. The shelf system is in a good age-appropriate condition. Here an original in rare design.

Original String shelf designed in 1949 by Nils Strinning in ash veneer. The system consists of five metal ladders in white with three shelves, two containers with sliding doors and two containers with drawers.
This original String shelf is much better processed and of a better quality than many wall shelves that hit the market in the 50s and 60s.
