English Regency Period Walnut Four Tier Étagère, Circa 1820
About the Item
English Regency Period walnut four tier étagère, Circa 1820. Faded walnut with an unrestored oxidized surface. Very fine / delicate turnings with ball finials on the top. Fitted with one drawer under the bottom shelf, retaining the original knob. All of the brass casters are original. Good small slender size. Strong and stable.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. The piece has an old surface that is alligatored in some places. The tops of the shelves have wear from use. There is shrinkage to the shelves. The piece is made of all solid woods, and no veneers. The old surface is mostly original. Wax finish.
