This piece, entitled 'Girl 3', depicts a human child torso with its facial features covered in dark, upswept hair, seated on a down-filled pillow, encased in plexiglass. It is composed of fiberglass, horsehair, feathered pillow and plexi case on a wood platform base. Will be shipped in its original gallery crate. Provenance Alan Koppel Gallery, Chicago. Signed and dated.
Recent solo exhibitions of Edward Lipski include Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens, Deurle; The Approach, London; Alan Koppel Gallery, Chicago; Entwistle Gallery, London; and Tim Van Laere Gallery, Antwerp.
