About the Item
A fabulous 1930s Bakelite book trough by EBCO bookcase company, Made entirely of Bakelite, this wonderful piece has survived completely intact, with no chips or cracks or repairs. The colour is of mottled chocolate. It features 2 elliptical ends which slot into the plinth, and is slightly reclined making it easier to view your books. This is a slightly larger version than usual and would make a lovely gift for somebody. It also flat packs making it easy to transport if necessary.
