A masterfully designed three-section Italian Mid-Century shelving unit, a testament to the elegant modernism of its era. This piece was designed by Lio Carminati, a frequent collaborator of Gio Ponti, and produced by the Italian furniture manufacturer Casa e Giardino.
The unit features a minimalist and airy black enameled wire frame, which gives it a sense of lightness and transparency, a key characteristic of Ponti's aesthetic. Each section measures 32 inches wide and 12 inches deep, making it a versatile storage solution. The modular design means it can be combined in additional ways (please inquire for details on configuration).
In original condition with visible wear, light scratches, and small chips consistent with its age and use.
