Influenced by her early exposure to the enchanting landscapes of El Palau in Falset, Sant Gregori, Valldoreix, and the Mediterranean Coast, Solano's sculpture, drawing, and photography are deeply rooted in her profound connection to space and materials. A prominent figure among the Spanish sculptors who rose to prominence after the demise of dictator Francisco Franco in 1975, Solano's work spans various materials, including iron, steel, lead, glass, and wire mesh.
