About the Item
Dutch Mid-Century, Pilastro manufactured wall unit with white, gray and ochre enameled metal shelves, cabinet and a perforated magazine display. Each piece is completely re-arrangeable with infinite possibilities. In the 1950s and 1960s, Amsterdam-based Pilastro employed many famous designers such as Coen de Vries, Friso Kramer, Dirk van Sliedregt, and Tjerk Reijenga, known for their attractively minimalist yet functional designs. This unit has age-appropriate wear, some enamel loss, and scratching, and a bowed shelf. No manufacturer tags or stamps. Several more variations are available and listed separately. The risers may differ from the ones pictured, but all are in similar worn condition.
