About the Item

Set of Three Solid Mahogany Display Cabinets with Chamfered Glass Shelves Circa 1970s–1980s A finely made suite of three solid mahogany display cabinets in the Chinese Chippendale style, comprising a matched pair of large units and a smaller coordinating cabinet. The design features geometric fretwork spandrels to the upper corners, recessed panel detailing, and thick chamfered-edge glass display shelves. Each cabinet is constructed from solid mahogany with a warm, even finish and good structural integrity. The glass shelves are inset and supported by metal pins — thick and high-quality with polished chamfered edges, ideal for showcasing objects of scale or delicacy. Dimensions (each large cabinet): 133 cm W x 50 cm D x 213 cm H Dimensions (smaller cabinet): 72.5 cm W x 50 cm D x 182.5 cm H Materials: Solid mahogany, thick chamfered glass, metal shelf supports Style: Chinese Chippendale revival Date: Circa 1970s–1980s Condition: Good vintage condition.
