Shelf with Brass Back by Tomasz Omachel Dimensions: D 33 x W 80 x H 34 cm. Materials: Ash and brass. Available in different wood options: oak, ash, and American walnut. Different finishes available: Lacquer/Oil and wood surface treatments: natural, dye and charring. Custom dimensions, other wood species and finishes on request. After changing dimensions shelf can become a media unit, wall-hung console or set of shelves mounted horizontally and vertically. Please contact us. Tomasz Omachel (1984) is a self-taught maker. His story began in furniture renovation, where he learned the secrets of the craft by observing the work of old masters.Over the years of work, he acquired skills that later became the foundation of his own creativity. This was the period of observation, where traces of tools left by skillful cabinetmakers on their furniture became an inspiration for him to start his own artistic work.The decision to move from renovation to furniture design was a natural step for him. He began to develop his own projects, drawing inspiration from the surroundings, his own experiences and emotions.Today, he finds beauty in the imperfect yet smooth forms of furniture, which he shapes in a unique way. His story is not only a journey through techniques of craftsmanship, but also a story about determination and passion for creating unique objects. Tomasz's artistic vision is a deep immersion in the world where art becomes not only an aesthetic addition, but also an integral part of life. His view on the role of an artist is not only the creation of forms, but also enriching the space with expressive objects that engage the senses. Through his works, he wants to encourage us to think about beauty in everyday life and look for it in everything that surrounds us.
