About
A rare find in a unique small scale, this mid-20th century French iron baker's rack is trimmed in brass around each of its three shelves. The shelves are joined by scrolling iron detailed with brass turnings that lend support as well as an aesthetic appeal. The scrolling motif is repeated at the crown where a shock of wheat recalls its original function to hold loaves of bread and baguettes in a French bakery, circa 1950.
