18th Century English Geometric Sideboard
About the Item
18th century oak sideboard from England with a beveled edge around the top, following down to paneled sides. There are two drawers in the front, both with raised panels and geometric moldings, flanked by applied turnings for added design flare. The piece is supported on simple legs in the back, for easy placement against a wall, and hand turned barley twist legs in the front. The front legs are connected by matching barley twist moldings and are lined to the back legs with simple moldings. The feet in the front are turned, for a lovely and elegant look.
