Alias 140/09 Hub Bookshelf by Alberto Meda

About the Item

Bookshelf with vertical elements in lacquered aluminium and shelves in oak veneered multilayer plywood. Finish in natural oak wood, lacquered (whitened, Canaletto walnut, dark, ash grey) or coloured stains. Available in two depths: 28 cm or 38 cm. ACCESSORIES: it is possible to add front and back panels (the shelves are already prearranged). Alberto and Francesco Meda design hub for Alias, the collection that in its rigorous design interprets a typology of modular system that is fixed to the wall. Is possible to create different compositions, real furnishing solutions that meet the different needs of the living room: capacious bookcases, practical sideboards and light open wall units extend the different functional possi- bilities of the living room. The shelves are made of veneered plywood and are available in two depths (280 mm and 380 mm). They are elegantly shaped and include a millings to let the front panels slide, thus highlighting some spaces and hiding others to create a story of full and empty spaces. Exploring the living area, hub becomes the fulcrum capable of gathering the different functions of the living room: the proposed configurations, bookcase, sideboard and open wall units, satisfy the most vari- ed needs. The extruded elements are fixed to the wall thanks to a system of invisible hooks. The vertical elements are available in two versions: the first one rests on the floor, it is equipped with an adjustable foot to unload part of the weight off; the second is a suspended version, which can be fixed to the wall. Additional Information: Available in other seat finish option: Light Grey (A051) Available in other frame finish options: Black (A011), white (A019), sand (A047), light grey (A051) Available in other various options
