About the Item
19thc. mahogany Adam serving table
This 19thc. mahogany Adam serving table was made circa 1880.
The cabinetmaker used a Robert Adams design to create this fine serving table, imagine the elegant home this would have first been placed in and the rich interior it would have graced.
The central drawer is of a serpentine shape and has fine carving of a central urn with floral leafy scrolls.
To each side of the central drawer are a further straight 2 drawers again with fine scrolls.
The 19thc. mahogany Adam serving table stands on fluted tapering legs, with blocks applied with carved patera.
